Momentary
2025
This body of work is a visual exploration of the intangible relationship between the self and the places we roam. It is suggested that landscapes play a major role in our own identities, but what happens to the self when our current landscapes no longer feel right for us? Inspired by previous work, where I photographed my hometown, I am continuing to question the concept of ‘home’, and what it means to me.
Portrayed through a collection of self-portraiture and landscape photography, this new project is a personal investigation of my own struggles with my mental health, with this desire to belong, or to find some sense of familiarity within the places I live.
